Part-time Housekeeping position available - must be available to work weekends and holidays, approx. 25hrs/weekly.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping experiences an asset, preferably in a retirement residence.
Ability to speak read and write English. Must be able to follow oral and written directions and to do simple arithmetic calculations.
Ability to do extensive standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and moving of light objects.
Basic Job Duties:

Clean, dust and vacuum resident suites, common areas offices, staff areas and any other assigned areas according to Carlingwood's policies and procedures.
Sanitize resident suites and any other assigned areas in accordance with Carlingwood's Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
Clean vacated rooms and prepare suites for new move-ins as instructed by the housekeeping supervisor.
Return to re-clean suites, common areas, staff offices, staff areas or soiled carpets as requested on an emergency basis.
Clean and sanitize resident bathrooms and all washrooms in the facility
Collect and dispose of refuse and dirty laundry from resident suites, common areas, staff offices, staff areas and any other assigned areas in accordance with Carlingwood's policies and procedures.
Clean and restock housekeeping cart daily.
Report any repairs or maintenance needed in your work areas
